Lorien's Eagle Xtra 5yr Old, 13.2 h , Chestnut Welsh Cross Pony Gelding
(Click On Images For Larger Views) Xtra" is a beautiful Welsh/Arab cross gelding. He is solid w/t/c under saddle, moves easy off your leg, and has a nice soft mouth. He is quiet and steady even when ridden without contact. Jumps 2' courses quietly under saddle, and has free jumped 3'9" (loves to jump!). He is a brave jumper and doesn't hesitate at any sort of flower boxes, coups, or other "scary" jumps, even at horse shows! He has a big stride, and is a nice mover, which will make him great for the hunter ring. His bold, scopey jump would also make him a great pony jumper or event pony. Xtra is green but has a wonderful mind and is VERY safe. He has perfect ground manners, loves to be groomed, and is good for the vet and farrier. We have all the papers necessary to register him, we just haven't done so. Xtra is still being schooled several days a week, but is also a part of the barn's lesson program, being ridden by complete beginners as well as more advanced students. He is wonderful for everyone! Easy keeper-stays barefoot (strong feet) and lives outside. Price negotiable, Owner is moving - must sell before summer!! Would also consider a summer lease. ***UPDATE*** Xtra went to his second horse show this past weekend. He was very quiet, we even braided him next to the in-gate!
