Cardinal Stables & Riding Academy Proudly Introduces Pony Pals & Tiny Tots
Pony Pals Club (Ages 5-8) Pony Pals is the perfect club for those children just starting to find interest in riding horses. This club is a lovely introduction to the world of ponies! Great for children with short attention spans, or who just want to have fun. This is also a great way to test your child's interest prior to committing to a more serious lesson program. Children ages 5-8 meet for 45 minutes, 1 day each week after school. Club Members will enjoy horse stories, learning cool horse facts, riding in a relaxed & fun environment, petting kittens and just hanging out with other club members at the barn!. Children will also learn how to groom, tack, feed and care for ponies. Space is available for 2 parental chaperones at each meeting. We find, that at this age, too many parents in attendance may create too great of a distraction for the children. A sign -up sheet will be available at the start of each month for parents to sign up to be chaperones. Monthly Membership Fee: $60
Pony Pals Club for Tiny Tots (Ages 2-4) Pony Pals for Tiny Tots is a version of our Pony Pals Club that is modified to fit the small hands, bodies and minds of tots. This is the perfect club for giving your little ones a great start to the love of riding. One Parent/Child Care Provider/Grandparent/Sibling 18 yrs of age or Older or Guardian is required to attend and assist with their children at every meeting. No more than one responsible adult in attendance please (it can be too distracting). Tiny Tots will have Pony Story-time, Lead-Line Pony Rides, Kitten Time and Fun Time. This is a great way to spend some special 1-on-1 time with your little one. This club is open to children Ages 2-4 who are not yet enrolled in school (other than Pre-school) and their parents. Meetings are 45 minutes in length and are held 1 day each week during the early afternoon hours, prior to school dismissal. Don't worry, we will dismiss in plenty of time for you to pick up the siblings from school! Monthly Membership Fee: $40
